Paula spent years on the move as a full-time pediatric ER nurse, traveling from state to state to care for children and families. After a work injury put her nursing career on hold, she turned to another lifelong passion - baking. Trading in her scrubs for an apron, Paula now pours her heart into crafting sourdough that's wholesome, organic, and made to share around the table.

Adam retired from the US Army in 2017 and now enjoys spending his days with their grandchildren, working around the house, hiking, golfing, fishing, playing pickleball, and experimenting around the kitchen with new recipes. He loves supporting Paula in her baking journey and takes pride in being part of the heart behind PK Sourdough MicroBakery.
